Pork Sesame Balls

- Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) minced pork
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped
- 1 oz (25g) peanuts, finely chopped
- 1 inch (2.5cm) root ginger, peeled and grated
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
- dash of sesame oil
- salt and pepper to season
- 7 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
- Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 200 c, 400 f, gas mark 6.
- In a large bowl mix together all the ingredients, except the sesame seeds, until thoroughly combined.
- Place the sesame seeds in a saucepan over a medium heat and dry fry until they turn golden brown.
- Divide the mixture into 18, shape into balls and roll in the sesame seeds.
- Place on a baking sheet and cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
