Chocolate Brownies (microwave)

  • Ingredients
  • 3oz (75g) butter
  • 2oz (50g) cocoa
  • 6oz (175g) soft brown sugar
  • 2x size 3 eggs (beaten)
  • 6oz (175g) plain flour
  • quarter teaspoon baking power
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons cold milk
  • 2oz (50g) walnuts (chopped)

  • Method
  • Melt butter in a glass bowl - stirring
  • Beat sugar and eggs until mixture is smooth
  • Add flour siftedwith baking powder and cocoa, vanilla essence and milk
  • Add walnuts
  • Spread in greased a greased glass dish 25 x 16 x 5cm
  • Cook for 4-6 minutes on high
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes and dust top with sifted icing sugar
