- Ingredients
- 3oz (75g) butter
- 2oz (50g) cocoa
- 6oz (175g) soft brown sugar
- 2x size 3 eggs (beaten)
- 6oz (175g) plain flour
- quarter teaspoon baking power
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons cold milk
- 2oz (50g) walnuts (chopped)
- Method
- Melt butter in a glass bowl - stirring
- Beat sugar and eggs until mixture is smooth
- Add flour siftedwith baking powder and cocoa, vanilla essence and milk
- Add walnuts
- Spread in greased a greased glass dish 25 x 16 x 5cm
- Cook for 4-6 minutes on high
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes and dust top with sifted icing sugar
